Orchestra Class Assignments
A couple of reminders . . .
VIOLAFEST – THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 12
Please register for the Violafest which is this Saturday at Samohi. You can
turn in your form to Mrs. Swenson at school - asap, please. This event will
be an inspiring day of viola camaraderie. Please turn in registration forms
and as well as the very reasonable $20.00 fee.
SYMPHONY STUDENTS – THANK YOU’S ARE DUE NOW
Please remember to turn in a personal thank you card to your chaperone.
You may turn in your thank you card to Mrs. Swenson who will be sure to
give it to your chaperone.
SYMPHONY – WEDNESDAY NIGHT REHEARSALS RESUME THIS WEEK
Please be on time and ready to rehearse this Wednesday from 5 – 7 PM. We
will be brushing up our repertoire in preparation for our exchange concert
on Friday (see below). We will also be sight reading new music.
SYMPHONY EXCHANGE EVENT on FRIDAY - FYI
This Friday, the San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) is visiting Samohi.
Our orchestra and band will perform for each other during Per. 4 and during
lunch. Pizza will be provided for all orchestra students since this will extend
through lunch.
